House of Tech Residents

Hailing from Yorkshire and following in the footsteps of such fine double acts as The Chuckle Brothers and puddings & gravy, Del-30 are the new kids on the block and they’re threatening to redefine the sound of electronic music in the north east, all without the use of a single donk.
Consisting of Gaz Kitcher & Alex O’Keefe, Del-30 have drawn on their combined twenty one years industry experience and their own unique musical influences and differing backgrounds, drum & bass and house respectively, to create their own take on house and tech house, described by many as an aural orgasm or “like listening to God whistle”.
Based in Huddersfield, Del-30 have been playing their own brand of high energy house and tech house at a number of high profile parties in some of the most respected venues on both the local and national scenes, including Reach Festival, Yorkshire, Mint Club, Leeds, Church, Leeds, Detonate Festival, Nottingham, Ministry of Sound, London and XOYO, London, to name just a few. With the summer of 2017 shaping up to be their best yet with more national and international bookings in the pipeline. So, just like any character played by fellow Yorkshireman Sean Bean, ever, it’s fair to say Del-30 have absolutely killed it lately.
In their time in the industry so far, Del-30 have constantly rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names on the electronic music circuit. Leaving lasting impressions on the likes of Patrick Topping, who said “Howay man, they were a reyt good laugh and played propa beltas” and Skream, who described them as “the Vic & Bob of dance music”. They’ve also supported Groove Armada, Solardo, Pirupa, Jey Kurmis, Stefano Noferini and Hector Couto and have close links with other rising stars like Tobias, Late Replies, Kinnerman and Blind Motive.
Already signed to labels such as Toolroom, Solä, Hippies Records, Strictly Deep and Under No Illusion, Del-30 have already made more waves in the industry than a fat kid in Butlins since starting their project in 2015. With their tracks ‘West Coast’, recently released on Ki Creighton’s Under No Illusion, and ‘Wanna Ride’, released on Solardo’s Solä, arguably their biggest hits to date, we can expect some more big releases and remixes coming out later this year and beyond.
One thing that cannot be said about Del-30 is that they lack ambition and with plans to start their own label, run their own parties and achieve total world domination, as well as a nice two week caravanning holiday in the Lake District, you can expect to hear and see big things from these lads in the not-too-distant future.
Hailing from the South and now based in Leeds, Dan Franks and Charlie Kirkland make up upcoming house and techno duo 'Understate'.
Starting out in 2014 the pair released their debut track 'Let It Go' featuring emerging UK-based singer/songwriter Gaby Henshaw. Quickly picking up label interest the track was snapped up and signed to one of the biggest dance music labels in the world; Armada Music’s imprint Armada Deep.
Since then they have gone onto to release music for some of the most credible labels such as Fat! Records, 808 Records, Concordia Recordings, Blanc and Alledged.
Having created a buzz in the electronic music scene over the past few years, the duo have recently gained support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing after they were handpicked by DJ Monki to support her on her 'Monki & Friends’ tour.
From then they’ve received further BBC Radio 1 airplay and interviews with some of their latest singles including club banger 'Night Owl'.
Having shared the stage with the likes of Disclosure, Skream, Solardo, Eats Everything and Danny Howard to name just a few the duo also gained themselves a residency at Hideout Festival in Croatia which saw them this year play for Elrow and BBC Radio 1.
Currently the pair are working on new music and are set for more festival and Ibiza appearances this summer including a slot at the annual Radio 1’s Ibiza weekend.
Their bass-heavy tracks and energetic live sets merging house, techno and bass music make Understate one of the most hotly tipped DJ duos to look out for right now.
Recently spending the summer in Ibiza Disco Kid gained residencies at the iconic venue Sankeys for the Redlight on Mondays with gigs at world famous party beach Bora Bora at Jet apartments aswell as holding his own partys at San Antonio's new sunset destination Sol House on rooftop nine and San An's legendary venue Itaca rootop terrace, Disco Kid's new sound developed into a more underground tech and house sound.
He is no stranger to the music industry with a professional career spanning over 15 years and various chart toppers including his remix of Aretha Franklin's 'Deeper Love' which hit the #1 spot in 2013 and ended being the #5 biggest selling deep house track on Traxsource also ending with another of his tracks in the top 100 sellers of 2013.
Oversea's gig's include playing at SIn nightclub in Dublin, DV1 in Lyon,France, Summer Circus festival, Mannheim, Germany as many festival appearances in UK supporting the likes Hannah Wants on her Uk tour, Michael Calfen at the 02 academy he is a firm favourite with party goers.
With releases on his own imprint NuPanda Records and signed to labels such as apartmentsixtythree, deepfreeze and various tracks released on Ministry of sounds youtube channel with past support from the mainstream radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Capital Fm and Rinse Fm and gaining track of the week on BBC 1Xtra in 2014 with his collaboration with vocalist Malisha Bleau 'Never Ever' he is set for a big year in 2018.
2018 will see him producing with his new sound and style mastering his craftsmanship to produce world class underground house & tech.
