The Members on Saturday 15th June 2019

The Members
Known widely for their Anthem 'The Sound of the Suburbs' The Members are a British Post Punk Band. They are an essential band that emerged from the musical revolution of the late-1970s, but while they are rightly regarded as punk they have always been beyond labels, their lyrics merging stories of everyday life with a dynamic, maverick style. Born in Camberley on the south-west outskirts of London, The Members’ landscapes and concerns link to those of neighbours The Jam and Sham 69, tap into the rhythms of West London outfits The Ruts and The Lurkers. These five offer a vision of London that is gritty, varied and suburban.

The Deckchairs
The original 1980s punk band from Reading, UK. Music may have changed, fashions come and go but they're still the same, playing old school punk all over the country. Song matter: football, drinking and not being very good.

The White Tips
Hailing from Aylesbury in Bucks, their love of Grunge and 60's Rock influence, is worn clearly as a badge of honour. There are many bands with decent riffs right now, what sets The White Tips apart is their addictive, crisp and concise riffs, infused with indie-punk vocals. Even when they are thrashing it out, the pop sensibilities lurk beautifully in the corner.
