About

A night showcasing the very best up 'n' coming bands in the South East.

Mud Coffee:

MudCoffee is a Brighton based band, with members from Brazil, Sweden and the UK. With their folk harmonies and reminiscent songwriting, MudCoffee pays homage to the creators of rock. Bringing the nostalgic sounds of the 60s and 70s into the 20s.

Bareface:

Bareface are a really cool blues rock band based in Brighton. They bring sounds from blues and progressive rock into a new contemporary rock sound. The music is filled with energy and excitement.
'Spill the Tea', their debut single, released on the 28th July introduced Bareface to listeners with a huge chorus akin to driving a speeding car, a quirky guitar line and a screaming solo. BBC radio Kent described it as a retro rock sound with a contemporary and new feel.
Bad Pedestrian:

With a lot of energy and passion, hypnotic riffs and captivating lyrics, Hastings based Bad Pedestrian started in late 2022, wanting to mix their inspirations of shoegaze, punk, post-punk and alt-rock altogether to create a plethora of sounds.

Their notable inspirations derive from bands such as Wolf Alice, Gender Roles, Paramore, Arctic Monkeys, Linkin Park, Muse, Idles, DIIV and Joy Division. With lyrics written by the whole band ranging from different stories and backgrounds so everyone can unite with an understanding of their songs. They’ve been working and writing to release their first EP soon.

Ben Maier:
Ben Maier writes driving emotional rock songs with chant-along choruses, supercharged 80s-influenced hooks and lyrics sung straight from the heart. Like a modern-day Bruce Springsteen with a touch of Nick Cave.
