Not too big, not too small, GuilFest remains an independently run, family festival with a very friendly atmosphere, held in the beautiful surroundings of Stoke Park, Guildford over the weekend of the 13th, 14th and 15th July 2012. Visitors can expect a weekend of live musical entertainment coupled with comedy, children's entertainment, theatre, art/craft exhibitions, and caterers from around the world providing a variety of meals in a truly festive atmosphere.

With its MASSIVE 150 foot beer tent serving our very own GuilFest bitter, Calypso cocktail bar, Comedy Zone, Theatre tent, 70s Disco, Dance tent, extensive KidZone and much much more, GuilFest caters for young and old alike - for local visitors or families wanting to just come for the day, or for the whole weekend for a 3 day mini holiday! Guildford's outdoor swimming Lido and Spectrum Leisure Centre on either side of the festival grounds offer easy breaks from the main festival site with a refreshing swim as well as a showering opportunity for the campers. All in all, GuilFest has something for everyone with its friendly relaxed vibe and eclectic mix of music and entertainment, so come along and see for yourself why GuilFest is the UK's best family festival!

Started in 1992 by Tony Scott, who still runs and directs the festival, the first festival attracted 1,500 people per day. Now in its 20th year, GuilFest is attracting up to 20,000 visitors each day and has truly established itself as one of the UK's leading festivals, winning the prestigious 'Best Family Festival Award' at the UK Festival Awards in 2006 and being consistently nominated for the family festival award and best medium sized festival award in the UK over the last few years.
