Deerhurst Flower Festival on Saturday 25th - Monday 27th August 2018
The spectacular Deerhurst Flower Festival will take place in one of England’s finest Saxon churches, the Priory Church of St. Mary nestling by the River Severn in the village of Deerhurst in north Gloucestershire. The historic church will be transformed into a fragrant and colourful living art gallery bedecked with vibrant floral displays depicting the theme for 2018, “A Moment in Time”
In addition to the flowers in church there will be hot and cold refreshments including delicious teas served on the Priory Lawn along with stalls selling plants, books and a variety of local crafts. An art exhibition showcasing local art is held at the same time in nearby Saxon Odda’s Chapel. The church tower will be open each afternoon so you can try your hand at bell ringing. There is ample car parking close to the church and comfortable access for wheelchairs.
