The spectacular Deerhurst Flower Festival will take place in one of England’s most delightful Saxon churches, the Priory Church of St. Mary nestling by the River Severn in the village of Deerhurst. The historic church will be transformed into a fragrant and colourful living art gallery bedecked with vibrant floral displays depicting the theme for 2018, A Moment in Time. Hot and cold refreshments including delicious teas are served all day on the Priory Lawn along with a selection of craft, local and charity stalls. An art exhibition takes place in nearby Saxon Odda’s Chapel. The church tower will be open each afternoon so you can try your hand at bell ringing. There is ample car parking close to the church and comfortable access for wheelchairs.
