About

Dignity Row

Dignity Row are a Scottish group formed in 2020 by songwriter Jamie Campbell with an eclectic cocktail of pop, soul, and 80s vibes and feel-good lyrics that reflect on the tapestry of genuine lives and the importance of sharing love and being the best possible version of ourselves.

Dignity Row songs seamlessly cross genres to provide feel good chilled out inspirational anthems, full of hooks that stay in your head. Every song is different, blending a range of voices and instruments, while retaining the Dignity Row sound. Dignity Row are clearly influenced by classic Scottish Bands while blending in many other influences.

Dignity Row have been blessed with the talents of Bobby Bluebell, Ken McCluskey, James Grant, Blythe Duff, Craig Baxter and Christine Kammerer on recent recordings, having been awarded Creative Scotland funding. In 2021, the band were awarded the “Highly Recommended” status from Liz Clark through the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections.

Dora Lachaise & Jonni Slater

Dora Lachaise (Maaike Siegerist) and Jonni Slater will play their new EP, Weather Balloons, accompanied by Doug Knight on drums. Weather Balloons combines Jonni’s love for film noir and Cold War novels with Dora’s fascination with UFO conspiracy theories and Nick Cave’s ominous murder ballads. Exciting new music, as heard on BBC Scotland and Amazing Radio. “It’s audacious, bold and beautiful. The lyrics are poetic, the interplay between the vocalists, so much to love here.” – Eclectic Picks, Fresh on the Net.
