Chris Greig & The Merchants on Saturday 21st March 2020

Please note, this event has been cancelled.

Energetic, feel-good indie-pop music, since 2017. Glasgow quartet, Chris Greig & The Merchants' undeniably catchy hooks are reinforced by their powerful guitar riffs, upbeat disco drums and notably relatable lyrics. Influence stems from The 1975, Stereophonics & Catfish & The Bottlemen. The band has shared the stage with Hipsway, Hue and Cry, Dancing on Tables, Vistas, Indigo Velvet, brownbear, Nick J.D. Hodgson (ex-Kaiser Chiefs), to name a few. 2019 has seen the boys hit the ground running, playing such summer festivals as Kendal Calling, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Sound on the Sand, leading up to a milestone headline slot of their own at King Tuts' Summer Nights festival. These shows were accompanied by the long-anticipated release of the critically acclaimed Lipstick E.P.
'Lipstick E.P gives a great flavour of the band, each song as strong as the next.' - Jim Gellatly, Scottish Sun
'The EP features a collection of catchy electric indie pop tunes which instantly gives you that feel good vibe!' - Discovery Music
Support comes from Alex Ohm, Victoria Sponge and Jonnie Wallace.
