I felt that this was a really poorly organised event. We arrived at 2.45 so early for our table. We decided to go to the bar to get a drink and then sit outside. The service at the bar was really poor- there was no menus and we waited about 10 minutes to get served.  We go out table at 3.10 and I felt that the organisation was really lacking. The free drinks which we were supposed to get weren't offered- I had to ask for them and even at that the choice was only between red and white wine. The boy who I asked for those drinks, I felt was extremely short and rude. Obviously could not be bothered with his shift.  The set up for the food was really bizarre- I thought it was going to be a cream tea whereby food would be given to us but it was set up as a buffet. This meant that tables had to go up one by one and when we initially went up half of the stuff wasn't available which meant we had to wait on more food coming out. It felt very disorganised. We were at one point told that we had to go to the bar to order drinks and that table service wasn't on but then saw other tables getting served. I get the impression that there was possibly not enough staff on for the event and that this led to some stress am**gst those who were working but as a side point I felt that the attitude of some workers was just not acceptable and they were so laid back. This wasn't the experience which I was hoping for as usually the Sky Bar is so lovely for a drink and with good quality food as well. I felt that out of the options of food only the haggis sausage roll was really enjoyable. The music was great and it had the potential to be a really great event but unfortunately we were left disappointed on this occasion.
