About

David Holmes is a Belfast born DJ & producer. In his varied professional life, he has produced five of his own albums and over 30 film soundtracks. Having DJ'd from the age of 15, David went on to run one of Belfast’s most revered club nights – Sugar Sweet – which brought acid house and rave culture to a city steeped in the Troubles.

After numerous strategical venues throughout the city of Glasgow ( BERKELEY SUITE/ OLDE BURNT BARNS/ POETRY CLUB)  It is with tremendous pleasure to add MCCHUILLS BAR & VENUE to this list of special gigs curated between Sonic Treasure and The Manifesto of Bliss.

McChuills is a venue David Holmes has longed to be part of, not only for its musical history but for its attitude and support of all things left in this city and country. The Manifesto of bliss is proud to be a small part in the soul belief which we share together as simply just good folk.
