About

Friday Night Comedy IV

It's Christmas and we have a stocking full of comedians for you to entertain you all. Hosted by our resident MC, Mr Graham Mackie/Santa.

Raymond Mearns

You’ve probably seen him in “Limmy’s show” and heard him on BBC Radio Scotland’s “Breaking the News” but what you may not know is that; Raymond Mearns has consistently been one of the top live stand-up comedians in the country for the past 15 years!

Successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows every year from 2011 to the present day have demonstrated Raymond’s considerable ability to keep his stand-up fresh, relevant and most of all extremely funny.

Described by Frankie Boyle as ‘a genuine improvisational genius’, Raymond can be seen regularly performing at venues all across the UK and frequently on the International Circuit.

If you want to see a great stand-up comedy show combining awesome storytelling with moments of genuine improvisation then he's your Man!

Stu Who

Stu Who? hit the comedy world with a big punch in 1988 and he gave up working as a warden in a YMCA hostel for 'troubled boys' in order to try and make perfect strangers laugh! In the very same year he went on to win "The Spirit of Mayfest" at Glasgow's annual Arts Festival and made his first performance on television.

Since then Stu has worked the length and breadth of the country, notched up plenty of television, radio and writing credits and has performed his stand-up as far afield as Australia!
