Dignity Row with support from Caragh, Fiona Liddell, Maya MacAdam and Joe Smith
DIGNITY ROW released their first album “Postcards from the Heart” in 2024 via Last Night from Glasgow, were nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year awards, and had their song “Glasgow” selected by Glasgow Life as the new song for Glasgow.
Dignity Row deliver an eclectic cocktail fusion of soul, indi, pop and folk music and feel-good lyrics. Influences include Deacon Blue, Danny Wilson, Hue & Cry, 10 CC, Elton John and Steely Dan.
Glasgow based singer-songwriter CARAGH combined her love of songwriting and her experience of motherhood, to release her debut album ‘Pieces of Me’ in September 2023, exploring the unique journey a woman takes on becoming a mother and the impact this has on her relationships.
Caragh is influenced by John Lennon, Joni Mitchell and Nina Persson, and is currently writing for her second album which will be released this year.
FIONA LIDDELL is a singer songwriter and violinist based in Dunfermline. As one half of the electronic pop duo Gefahrgeist, she brings her unique songwriting style and fiddle playing to an unusual genre. Their first album is due out in late 2025.
As a member of a variety of bands and projects, Fiona rarely performs solo. Using backing tracks and live fiddle, she creates an eclectic soundscape that will transport the listener and spark their imagination.
MAYA MACADAM is an alt-folk singer songwriter using classical instrumentation. Looping harp, vocals, and violin to create a rich sound-world, whilst incorporating modern day storytelling within the act itself.
Maya won the prestigious Paolo Nutini Songwriting Scholarship, and has performed at Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, AMPLIFI, Sofar Sounds Edinburgh and Glasgow, Endless Summer.
JOE SMITH is an Ayrshire based singer songwriter, studying Music and Business at the University of the West of Scotland. As an aspiring Educator, Joe thrives from advocating for wider access and equal opportunities to music education for all students and grass roots artists across Scotland.
As a creative, Joe is inspired by the likes of Noah Khan, Forest Blakk and Luke Combs. He blends country writing styles, with influences of indie and folk twists. Joe has an amazing mellow singing voice and is destined for a bright future.
