Mr Hudson Gig - Waste of everyone's time!
A group of 5 of us arrived at The Lemon Grove at 8pm with high expectations.
A rubbish warm up act played for half an hour, but barely got the crowd going. After a 3 and a half hour wait, Hudson finally arrived half cut and unprepared. The measly four songs he did sounded ok, but were ruined by his arrogance and stage manner.
His behaviour was highly unprofessional and although the gig was only £10, it is £10 I wouldn't waste on him again.
He has a serious case of fame going to his head. What a disappointment.

Mr Hudson
I have liked Mr Hudson for a couple of years now and even went to see him perform at the O2 wireless festival last year, however, last night's performance was possibly one of the poorest any musician could have experienced! Not only did his 'fans' have to wait an irritating 2.5 hours just to the see the very personification of arrogance, but he rolled on to stage completely HAMMERED with a drink in each hand! Ok, so he EVENTUALLY turned up, fair play, BUT, he had the nerve to perform only 4 songs! He was an utter joke! If anything, the only good thing about last night was the fact that I now know how much of a t*** Mr.Hudson is. Well done for alienating at least 500 of your former fans, smart move.

No good
I honestly would've rather stayed at home all night and slept then had to stand through 4 hours of average music to be let down by four songs by Hudson. Such a disappointment! I've loved Mr Hudson's music for a while but seeing him act like such a **** at a small venus gig is just unacceptable.

mr hudson
It was pretty much the worst night in exeter i've had. My friend's sister had come down to visit and it didn't exactly give her the best impression of exeter. Not only did we wait for 2.5 hours for mr hudson, when he eventually came on, he was steaming drunk and only played 4 songs. It was an absolute disaster and I would've much preferred to stay at home and save the £10 for something that was not so rubbish.

very disappointing
big fan of Mr. Hudson and unfortunately feel he lost more fans than gained that evening. seen performances of him at other venues on you-tube; he was amazing and i was really looking forward to seeing him live. think it was a case of a musician getting to big headed for the smaller venues, which is a massive shame as i thaught he was the down to earth type. he came on stage with a half empty bottle of courvoisier cognac; stumbling all over the place, sang four songs and obviously went back to him bottle after making us wait three and a half hours. wasn't planned out well either; they kept saying 'are you ready for Hudson' 2 hours prior to him coming on stage and everyone was just getting frustrated with the amount climaxes and anti-climaxes. has not put me off the lemon grove as a venue though, just 'californicised' musicians.

Mr Hudson, so so poor
It was probably the most dissappointing night of my friends time at exeter made us wait 3 hours while listening to a poor rapper. Then as he finally came on played and sang 4 songs badly and just kept name dropping and being ****y then left. he was boo'd off and deservedly so.
