Shapework - Untold on Friday 18th May 2018

Thank you to everyone has made it down to any or all of our parties this year. We’re thrilled to welcome Untold to the capital, for the final event of our second series.

With releases on R&S Records, Hessle Audio and his own Hemlock Recordings, Untold’s carefully curated musical pedigree is second to none. Building on a passion for, the then, emergent sounds of Jungle and Drum & Bass, it wasn’t until dubstep emerged as the new sound of the UK underground that Untold productions began to surface. Inspired by weekly trips to London club night ‘FWD’, Untold’s first record was released via the now global force that is Hessle Audio in 2008. Since then, Untold has gone on to sign James Blake’s first record to his label as well as pushing an undeniably unique and experimental derivative of the dubstep sound he introduced himself to the world through. Hemlock has grown and evolved over the years, releasing music from the likes of Pearson Sound (under his Ramadanman moniker), Pangaea, Hodge, Joe and Bruce, as well former Shapework guests: Randomer and Ploy.

This is a rare opportunity to hear an artist whose music not only traverses so many corners of dance music; but is also presented in a fiercely unique style.
