Junkoactive Wasteman vs Yoko Pwno

Yoko Pwno presents the Junkoactive Wasteman at Edinburgh's bongo club.

The Junkoactive Wasteman, is a self proclaimed junkophile.

Whilst working as a freelance bin man, relentlessly picking litter in the backstreets, he drowned in a barrel of toxic waste but was saved by tin cans which fused to his body. No longer a bin man, but part man, part tin can.

Now - along with the Tin Can Twins - he tours the world playing a trashy mix of broken beats, recycled samples and live drums.

Yoko Pwno are the lunatic fringe of  Scotland's traditional music scene - a 14 legged dance party taking Scottish music to strange and wonderful places.

Lewis, Lissa, Calum, Helen, Dan, Gary and Sam are on a mission to blow you away with a fusion of self penned folk tunes, songs, and the kind of banging, wonky dance beats that soundtrack Edinburgh’s underground club scene.
