TAngerinecAT/ Kapil Seshasayee/ Dumb Muscle on Saturday 10th March 2018

Cute Owl Promotions proudly presents a night of unusual live electronica with experimental undertones and an astonishing interplay of many different musical instruments, featuring high energy politically relevant acts who are winning the praise and acknowledgment of a wide range of audiences.
In association with Through The Eyes Of Ruby

The huge many faceted sound of a virtuously played hurdy-gurdy with effect pedals, fierce yet tender vocals, floaty whistles, massive drone bass & field recordings seamlessly combine with industrial-techno beats in an utterly captivating show.
After forming in Ukraine in 2008 where they toured extensively drawing crowds of several hundred, tAngerinecAt went on to tour further afield in Russia and later Wales and England. In 2016 they finally made it to Scotland playing a headline show in Edinburgh which was sold out. As part of their UK tour, tAngerinecAt will return to Edinburgh in March!

Kapil Seshasayee

Glaswegian art rocker Kapil Seshasayee is set to cause waves in the experimental music scene with his new single A Sacred Bore, out now on Liverpool based label Loner Noise.
Kapil Seshasayee is a polymath, and a true original talent, both as a songwriter and as a soundsmith, a one man combination of Scott Walker, Mark Hollis, Bjork, and Richard Dawson, creating something wholly unique. Combining Big Black style drum machine beats with thundering baritone guitar, stunning vocals and a penchant for unorthodox instrumentation such as the aquaphone, Kapil manages to be truly experimental yet still accessible.
Having performed across the UK with a raft of great and innovative acts such as Victor Villarreal, Blacklisters, USA Nails, Screaming Females and Carla Bozulich, Kapil has developed a reputation as an engrossing and engaging live performer, producing his stunning arrangements alone with a variety of instruments and tools at his disposal.

Dumb Muscle

Dumb Muscle are two 'men' who work jobs that are menial and have lives that are ordinary. We restrict our band members to two for reasons that don't concern you. We hit drums and use analogue synths to produce sounds that keep you entertained and open to suggestion. We are influenced. We are just dumb muscle.
