Explore the Giant Lanterns of China this February Break on Friday 9th - Saturday 17th February 2018

The Giant Lanterns of China are illuminating RZSS Edinburgh Zoo this February school break. Over 450 dazzling giant lanterns have transformed Edinburgh Zoo into a mesmerising trail of specular animal and wildlife lanterns, making it the perfect evening out for all the family.

The enchanting trail will be open for seven nights from 9 February to 18 February, so families can explore the illuminated sculptures including giant pandas, lions, penguins and flamingos. Over 450 dazzling animal-themed lanterns create a light spectacle where you can also see a 115-foot long Chinese dragon, incredible illuminating flowers, insects and Chinese heritage symbols.

Each evening there is a showcase of traditional Chinese entertainment including breath-taking performers, craft stalls and mouthwatering Chinese food throughout the trail.
