Des Was a Bowie Fan: Edinburgh Special on Saturday 18th January 2020

On Saturday January 18th London clubnight Des Was A Bowie Fan returns to Edinburgh - indiepop, new wave, post-punk, 60s Pop and Northern Soul dancing at ace subterranean club venue Henry's Cellar Bar on Morrison Street, just off Lothian Road. 11pm till 3am.

The Shangri-Las to The Smiths, Brigitte Bardot to Belle and Sebastian, Roy Orbison to The Raincoats, Dusty Springfield to Depeche Mode, The Beach Boys to Ballboy, Jackie Wilson to Joy Division, Buddy Holly to David Bowie, with a smattering of Edinburgh post-punk legends. As it's the anniversary of Bowie's death, we'll draw heavily from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars during the first hour of the night.
