Outdoor fun at Dalkeith Country Park this half-term on Monday 12th - Friday 16th February 2018
Dalkeith Country Park’s Ranger team is hosting sessions daily from 12th to 16th February during which children can make their very own shelters from natural materials in the woods.
The den building workshops take place between 2pm and 3pm daily between 12th and 16th February as well as 11am on 15th and 16th February. The sessions cost £3 per child with advanced booking essential. Places can be secured by calling 0131 654 1666 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The sessions are suitable for children aged five and over and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Parents looking to make a day of it at Dalkeith Country Park can also take advantage of Fort Douglas adventure playground. Plus, the Coffee Bar and Restoration Café are perfect for refuelling after outdoor play. The Coffee Bar is informal with self-service for teas, coffees, cakes, soup and sandwiches. Meanwhile Restoration Café is waiter served with a delicious brunch, lunch, kids and afternoon tea menus made from the tastiest locally sourced produce.
