Personal assistant - pa
Their ticket is provided on the expectation that they are willing and able to assist you, throughout your visit and in the event of an evacuation they are your main point of assistance.
Crowd management personnel located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.
Pa tickets will not be posted out and will be available only on the day for collection
To qualify for the free carer/pa ticket, it is mandatory to provide one of the following forms of supporting documentation as evidence of your requirements along with your ticket order confirmation number:
- PIP (Personal independence payment)
- DLA – care and/or mobility
- D/deaf or blind registration
- The Access Card or equivalent with a +1 Icon for PA tickets
- Blue Badge – permitted for parking only requests
Please note, the name on the purchased festival ticket must match the name on the evidence of entitlement provided in order for a free carer pass to be granted.
BEFORE BOOKING
Please note Out East Festival is largely a green-field site, with some tarmac paths on the entrances and exits.
While there are some sheltered areas, it is mainly an open-air event, Ground conditions are therefore weather dependent, therefore mobility across the site may become compromised. We ask you to consider this before booking a ticket.
COMPANION TICKET SCHEME
We operate a companion ticket scheme, at no extra cost, for eligible customers, available only on Adult and Teen Tickets. These can be applied for when booking.
How To Book
If you know you’ll be applying for a companion ticket then please do not book a ticket for them at your initial booking, as this will not be refunded if your application is approved.
Book the required number of festival tickets you need, minus companion.
Apply for your companion ticket and submit supporting documentation using our Accessibility Application Form. Please got to https://www.outeastfest.co.uk/accessibility to apply.
Applications will close on Monday 5th July 2022, unless sold out earlier.
ACCESSIBLE CAR PARKING
Only one car is permitted per party for the registered accessibility festival goer in the Accessibility Car Park. Blue badge parking spaces can be booked on our access form,
Any other vehicles must be parked in the General Car Park.
ACCESSIBLE DROP OFF
If you’re being dropped off at the festival, there’s a drop off / pick up point within close proximity to the Accessibility Check-In Point.
From the drop-off point to the Main Arena is approximately 200m over a gravel pathway and green-field site.
ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
Viewing platform at Main Stage (unsheltered)
Wheelchair-accessible loos at viewing platform and each of the main toilet blocks throughout the arena.
Induction loops will be available from the Accessibility Check-In Point upon arrival.
Medical Tent with trained First Aiders.
Electric wheelchair charging point located at the viewing platform
Assistance dog resting area located at the Welfare tent.
Lowered bars, which will also have large-print men- us.
Refrigerated storage of medication if necessary.
ASSISTANCE DOGS
While we cannot allow pets of any kind into the festival, registered assistance dogs are permitted.
If you plan on bringing an assistance dog, please let us know in advance via the Accessibility Application Form so that we are adequately prepared for this.
Otherwise, we cannot guarantee entry of the assistance dog.
DEAF & HARD OF HEARING CUSTOMERS
A Sign Language Interpreting Services will at Out East Festival Friday and Saturday providing BSL Interpreting services.

TICKET ARRIVAL
Your wristbands and any applicable accessibility passes will be available to collect from the Accessibility Check-In Point on arrival.
Please ensure you have your confirmation email or mobile ticket ready to collect these.
