Review of Edinburgh - Big Freshers Lockdown - in association w BOOHOO MAN
Staff extremely rude and nasty for no reason.
Me and my friend attended this event and had to leave at about 1 because my friend had to get the last bus for getting back to her accommodation, so we politely asked the woman at the front desk if we could have our hoodies now and explained the situation and she started getting very rude and nasty and said "don’t speak to me like that, why are you getting rowdy and piping up, calm down" we were very calm and had only had 2 drinks and weren’t drunk. We had to leave without the hoodie that we paid extra money for. Won’t be returning.

Review of BROKE! Presents: Freedom Friday!
No COVID regulations what’s so ever, drink was no where nearly as strong as any pub ive went to. It took almost 40 mins to get into the club and by the time you get in you’re sober. Because of this everyone heads to the bars, once at the bar you’re waiting another 30 - 40 mins for a drink (people pushing past shouting for a drink) once you finally the get served you’ll get greeted with an extortionate price (£4 for a tiny VK) and once you drink the alcohol it will get you tipsy at best because how low percentage and how small the amount of drink is that they give you, so you’ll have to go back into the queue 20 mins later for another 30 mins. The club itself was far too small for the amount of people in the venue, almost like a mosh pit. No one more masks, everyone kissing and sharing drinks, people sniffing in the toilets and the bouncers don’t care, glass bottles and drink all over the dance floor and smoking area. The toilets were flooded with urine (like a massive loch of piss on the floor). Lastly the so called “DJ” was outright awful, I’ve heard better tunes in a junkie flat in Thall from some neds soundcloud playlist. The whole night be played remix after remix of awful techno and rap music. Some music would have you thinking it was decent but then it transitioned into a hard bass donk tune and you’d just want to cover your ears. So in conclusion, don’t go to Atik just spend your money on a night out at why not or even better an actual techno event in Glasgow. I’d give Atik a 0.7/10 and that’s being extremely generous (it’s more like a 0.5/10). Hope this review helped.
