The Skids 40th Anniversary Tour! 1977- 2017
Review of The Skids
Amazing gig support Filthy Tongues were brilliant but Skids even better. Great sound in venue
Would you recommended: Yes
Excellent gig!! great tunes still sounding fresh after a "few" years :-) all the band still got it, bring on the next wan!! :-) !! :-)
Brilliant night. Certainly brought back great memories of seeing them for the first time in the seventies.
Superb gig. The Skids were on fire. Atmospheric electric, Jobson knows how to get the fans up for it. All the 50 somethings felt like teenagers again !
Amazing. The hall was absolutely rocking.
Had a great night, saw them 38 years ago when I was 13, still awesome, ticket collection was easy and well organised., would defo use/recommend again, couldn't get a signed photo at end as was was too budy, Cheers Derek
Nearly 2 hours of pure energy, the Skids once more blew their hometown crowd away. Don't leave it so long again.
Fantastic night, energy, excellent sound

If I was to sum up this concert in one word, that word would be AWESOME.
The Skids are back, but you would never, in a month of Sunday's, think they had been away. The energy, passion and enjoyment had by the sell-out crowd AND by the band was there for all to witness. The smile on Richard Jobsons face from start to finish would put any Cheshire cat to shame. The audience was made up mostly of individuals similar to me - middle aged, hair receding, just a little overweight, who really had no right to be at a Skids concert - but my goodness, us auld-timers showed the youngsters of today how to really enjoy themselves. I'd put money on the fact there will be a few sore backs and pulled muscles today in quite a few households up and down the country. The Skids are well and truly back and I, for one, am shouting this from my rooftop.
Tremendous. The Skids were tight as a drum and sounded great. Young bands should watch & learn, although from the number of aging players in the crowd it looked like a Dunfermline musicians night out.
Fab music in a good venue, bar prices were ok too, queues as expected but moved fairly fast
A brilliant night! We travelled from Bedford to see this show, and were not disappointed. Been a massive Skids fan since the late 70's and never thought I would see them play again. They absolutely smashed it!
Everything was spot on apart from the bar set up, it was taking approx. 45 minutes to get a drink.
no problem getting in , straight in and everything was well organised apart from the bar area , the concert itself was awesome and i have booked tickets already for next February .
