Great night & lots of fun had by all but I think the twister game needs a rethink, it went on far too long & lost people's attention also it would of bn good to have fun presents, chocolate Willie's etc. Also felt that when show finished we were basically told to leave, we didn't even have time to finish our drinks.

Very poorly organised. Extra money paid for vip to be upstairs and away from all the excitement and not being able to see or hear anything properly. The show wasn’t what was advertised either. Disappointed

Review of Halloween Immersive Cinema Scare Attraction - Dundee

Overall rating: 2 Verified review

Worst event I have ever attended, complete rip off.

Advertised as a fully immersive experience, but was really just a room set up like a school assembly, everyone crammed into small rows on tiny plastic seats to watch an old film while a few poorly dressed "actors" attempted a couple of jump scares every now and again.
Visually, the film was projected onto a screen via an old xbox and the audio was a joke.... practically non existent with only a very noisy auxiliary hum from the venues large speakers that were not even utilised for the film.
Snacks consisted of cheap crisps and popcorn and a box of celebrations.
Drinks were ok until the "Performance" started and the bar closed..... so we were unable to even drown our sorrows
You could feel the disbelief and embarrassment in the room amongst the guests who had paid good money to be entertained

It was definitely a horror show.. but for all the wrong reasons

I think that £28 for a ticket is too much money for what this was. However, the event was good fun and we enjoyed ourselves. The film choice wasn't great - 3 film options we had never heard of, but it was a good evening.

Review of Halloween Immersive Cinema Scare Attraction - Dundee

This was advertised as a fully immersive cinematic experience. What it actually was was an old film played from an Xbox on poor quality projector. The auxiliary hum from the huge speakers (that they failed to use for the film) made it impossible to actually hear any audio. The bar closed when the film started so we were unable to even drown our sorrows. Complete waste of time and money! We walked out!

This event was OK but that was about it. For a start it was way overpriced there are better events out there for less money. It was definitely not what was advertised,an immersive horror experience it was not, there was no acting out of scenes etc it was just 4 people in costumes unrelated to the movie you were watching who would occasionally bang on the floor ,stand behind you or make noises. Also a small point but Michael myers does not make a noise it's part of his character!!!

No hotdogs at the venue. Small plastic cups of popcorn.

The sounds quality was not great and I struggled to hear it.

Also there was a 35 minute break half way through the movie so people could go to the bar. It was too long and ruined the atmosphere.

1. I was promised "horror icons' - there was only 4 people dressed up the whole night. 1 random in black with a mask. 1 random clown, (not pennywise) and a pig. Micheal myers showed up twice in 2 and half hours. No 'icons'

2. There was meant to be choregraphed horror scenes throughout the show which did not happen once! That's all I need to say about that.

3. 'Large screen display of all the greatest horror movies' - they played 1 film for the whole duration of the event. What a joke!

4. They served alcohol. They got one thing right!

5. 'Popcorn, nachos and hotdogs' - didn't see a hotdog once all night

I have never felt so missold In my whole life

Event was really poorly done and definitely not worth £28. The event info said nachos and hot dogs would be available but this wasn’t the case. The only food on offer was pathetically tiny boxes of stale popcorn. Event info also said actors would act out live horror scenes which didn’t happen. The cast of horror “icons” was just 4 guys in cheap halloween costumes who roamed around the audience for the entire film. A lot more could have been done to make the event feel immersive. The whole event felt lazy and not worth the money, wouldn’t recommend.

over-priced and never ran to time. It was meant to be 19:00 to 21:30 but got in at 19:15 and out at 21:00 also stated on tickets there would be hot-dogs/nachos for snacks but there was nothing only popcorn.
