Race for Life (5k) - Dundee on Sunday 17th June 2018
5k (or just over 3 miles) is an achievable distance for all ages and abilities.
You can take part however you like and can choose to run, jog or walk your way around the course.
Those who jog or run Race for Life often complete the 5k course in about 30 to 45 minutes. Walkers take about an hour, but there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time. It’s all about uniting in the fight against cancer.
If you are new to running or just want to get started again, there is a training plan available on the website too.
This is thousands of women uniting with one purpose.
THIS IS BEATING CANCER.
The Dundee route is situated within Camperdown Park, which is the largest public park in Dundee. The route allows you to take in the beautiful sights of the park, including the stunning neo-classical Camperdown House, before heading into the forest area. The terrain of the course is a mix of grass, roads and woodland paths, with a couple of small inclines.
