Review of Bambino Boogie - Christmas Party

The price was good for a Christmas party but no Santa and the music far too loud for little people, we left early as it was just too busy, nowhere to sit properly or put bags which is frustrating when you have a little one. The venue really wasn’t clean, the floor sticky from however many previous nights which isn’t ideal for children. There was a small area for babies but I expected a bit more for what was advertised. There were great activities for older children, however, and I think the event should be advertised as such rather than ‘bambino’ which implies younger.

It was a great idea but unfortunately the venue was really dirty , especially the toilets and it was very dark. Maybe not the best for very young children but in a better venue with a safer space for smaller babies and more room maybe it would be better. The organiser clearly worked very hard to make it a success and it was very well organised indeed.

This was a very well organised event. However, being called "Bambino" Boogie I expected it to be more baby friendly. Whilst the music was perfect for a Christmas party, it was incredibly loud and the lighting didn't seem to be modified in any way. My 13 month old daughter loves lights and music but was quite frightened at times and had definite sensory overload. In the end myself and my friends with babies of the same age had to leave early as the babies were becoming really upset. Another idea would have been to have a bigger area for babies to sit as we ended up on the floor which was still sticky from the previous night! There wasn't enough seating for the numbers. Otherwise the logistics seemed to work well. I wouldn't hesitate to bring an older child here as the atmosphere and activities really were geared more towards them. Hope to access this again a few years down the line when my daughter is no longer a Bambino!
