THURSDAY NOVEMBER 8 - LOST VOICE GUY (EVENT SOLD OUT)
LOST VOICE GUY
Winner of Britain's Got Talent 2018, Lee Ridley - aka Lost Voice Guy - is making a lot of noise for someone who can't speak! Originally appeared at Katie's as a support act in February 2016 - this time he's back to close the show! Hilarious and unique.
Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned. Currently supporting Joe Lycett on his nationwide tour.
Superb one-liner act from the Black Country who won Funniest Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016 ahead of TV names such as TIm Vine and Gary Delaney. Some silly, some thought-provoking, some just downright dark. Don't miss him!
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9 - PAUL TONKINSON
A sensational live performer, Yorkshire man, marathon runner and former (double award-winning) Time Out Comedian of the Year, Paul Tonkinson has long upheld his esteemed reputation as one of the finest stand-ups the UK has to offer. With a unique and distinctive style, Tonkinson is noted for his effervescent physicality and skillful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent.
A favourite on the circuit and tour support for Ricky Gervais, Bill Burr, Doug Stanhope, Doc Brown and Katherine Ryan. As seen on Russell Howard's Stand-Up Central and Live at the Comedy Store. Sean's most recent TV outing was starring in Viceland's 'Brexit Stage Left' alongside Jamali Maddix, Fern Brady & Alfie Brown.
A popular performer on the circuit, Pete won the Silver Stand Up competition in 2017 at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Hilarious tales of growing old, you'll love him!
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10 - ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU
The creation of Dan Renton Skinner – a member of the Dutch Elm Conservatoire Sketch group – Angelos Epithemiou is the owner of a burger van who wants to break into show business.
He got his break in 2009, when he became a permanent team member on the revival of Shooting Stars, replacing Johnny Vegas on Ulrika Jonsson’s Team B, before becoming the scorer.
Angelos was nominated for the breakthrough award and best sketch or character act at the 2010 Chortle awards.
In 2012 he starred in his own Channel 4 series.
A unique comic voice, Dyer charms any room with matchless material, an offbeat stage presence and a truly whirlwind fizz of energy. Harriet already has heads turning with her baffling tales of a misspent youth, and bewildering personal tales that are so ridiculous, they must be true. Truly unique material and delivery.
If Stewart Lee, Jack Dee and Morrissey ever had a child together then Liam is who they would call son. Liam started performing stand up in Manchester in June 2012. His unique style is a breath of fresh air to the circuit. Liam has crafted his own unique brand of stand up, mixing cleverly honed material and punchlines with excitingly unpredictable audience interaction. All this, mixed in with a hint of ‘whimsy’ and clever observations whilst delivered in a wonderfully unenthusiastic and grumpy style.
