Review of Drum & Bass Awards 2017
I never buy VIP tick*ts and this event proved why. Was meant to have VIP entrance, VIP bar, VIP area and potentially VIP toilets (I can't remember if they said there would be).
Got to the event, there was a VIP entry but everyone was going through it.
Walked into what was basically a warehouse and this was where the warehouse was split into two rooms. These rooms were separated by a bit of cloth. No sign of any VIP bar or VIP area!
The sound system in both rooms was appalling, one room we saw an MC actually shaking his head because he was much louder than the music, I could hardly hear the music.
The toilets were a joke. Probably 10/15 toilets for I don't know how many girls. The queues were near enough 20+ girls every time I went.
To say how good the line up was, I'm embarrassed to have let such well known DJ's play at such a disappointing event.
Tried to get in contact with the event but there was no numbers or emails and they ignored my message on Facebook.
Massively let down.

Quality of sound was great...however not at all impressed with disabled facilities available there ( or lack of should I say)so had to leave pretty much early on and missed most...
No disabled toilets and no seating provisions or disabled platform for such a huge event I was most dissatisfied.

I was impressed overall with the event -although I purchased VIP tick*ts as I was under the impression there would be separate toilets but there weren't, they only had 6 toilets for the whole capacity of the event and had to wait on average 30 minutes to use the toilet.

We booked VIP tick*ts as access to bar chill out area and TOILETS and guess what NO VIP TOILETS as it became a problem when it took 45 minuets for the girls to go to the toilet and missing lots of the action and it's not good to keep a 14 week pregnant lady waiting that long and security staff didn't care, also sasasas not playing as the time slots couldn't be moved
