Funhouse Comedy Club - Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer on Sunday 7th July 2019

EDINBURGH FESTIVAL PREVIEW ALL-DAYER AT BAR ONE, DERBY.

Funhouse Comedy brings an outstanding day of comedy to the beer garden stage at Bar One, Derby on Sunday July 7th with its Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer.

2.00pm – Patrick Monahan– Started from the Bottom, Now l'm Here.
Multi award-winning comedian and Fringe favourite, returns to Edinburgh with another brand new stand-up show. Smart and funny observations on a new-found, middle-class lifestyle with ski holidays, through the prism of poor, immigrant, living-in-a-caravan roots.

3.25pm –– Steve Bugeja – Single Mum.
Steve helped his single mum find her Prince Charming all while learning his times tables. (He was seven). The host of Radio 4's Economics with Subtitles returns to Edinburgh following four critically-acclaimed shows.

4.50pm – Laura Lexx – Knee Jerk.
Laura Lexx is a 'bouncy, bubbly stand up star' shining a hilarious light on how hard it is to be a good person these days. Can you change the world without offending anyone? Lexx takes on society's big issues... but come for jokes, not answers. It's sure to be 'stomach-achingly funny'.

6.15pm – Javier Jarquin is Boring AF.
Javier is boring. An utterly pain-staking and underwhelming human being. He's not one to watch. He has no buzz about him. No media.

attention and definitely no fan club. You're already bored reading about him and that's a GOOD thing. In an age where everyone is looking to be special, we've forgotten about the importance of shutting the hell up and blending in. A show for anyone who's ever failed to shine.

7.30pm – Act tbc.

8.45pm – Scott Bennett.
The amusing and friendly Scott Bennett, who has recently supported both Michael McIntyre and Rob Brydon. His second show 'Leap Year' was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2019 and completed a sell out run to critical acclaim at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic.
