Tom's Midnight Garden - A Midsummer Ballet on Monday 2nd August 2021

Bring friends and family to beautiful and historic Tilgate Park in Crawley, and immerse yourselves in the magic of ballet.

When Tom is exiled to his aunt and uncle’s dreary flat while his brother recovers from measles, he fears that his holidays are doomed. But the vast old house hides enchanting and wondrous secrets, and the grandfather clock is striking 13…

Frankly Speaking Productions presents Tom’s Midnight Garden, a brand new covid-secure ballet production adapted from Philippa Pearce’s classic novel - Philip Pullman believes this to have been the greatest work of children’s literature ever written.

Stretch out on the grass amongst the towering trees and beautifully-planted flowerbeds, for the story of a garden that only exists on the thirteenth chime, and the powerful, enduring friendship that two children find there.

There is a cafe kiosk just outside the park. Or why not bring a picnic and enjoy this magical space?

Tickets available at www.franklyspeakingproductions.co.uk/tickets

Child £8, Concession £10, Adult £12, Family £35.

Monday 2 August 2021 @ 6pm and 8pm.

Performance running time: 40 minutes (with a photo opportunity for children at the end!)

This is an open air production, so please come prepared for the weather. Note there are no chairs provided so you might choose to bring a picnic blanket or camping chair with you.
