If you haven't seen The Turbans, do so at the first opportunity! They serve up a frenzied and frenetic meze of musical influences, a joyous stew from the middle east and the eastern Mediterranean, with a few other stops along the way! Their infectious groove is pretty much guaranteed to have you smiling. laughing and dancing along! The Tin is a cute, little 'underneath the arches' venue, which is part of the Coventry Canal basin complex. Small, compact and friendly, it was pretty much an ideal place to see The Turbans, although the eight band members could probably have done with a little more space on the tiny stage! A perfect place for those who prefer their live music outings to be, 'intimate', rather than stadium-sized! Local bottled beers, from Coventry brewer, 'Byatts', helped lubricate proceedings at the bar! - a great evening!
