Gatecrasher Classical on Friday 28th December 2018
Following the sell out summer event at the prestigious Coventry Cathedral Ruins, Gatecrasher are pleased to announce that the final 2018 edition of their highly acclaimed Classical event will head to Coventry's Skydome Arena on Friday 28th December! Expect Xmas & NYE rolled into one unforgettable night!
Set right in the heart of Coventry City Centre, the 2021 UK City of Culture, the new venue boasts an increased capacity, a later licence has also been applied for which will see the event running right through until 4am, as well as being a bigger and more flexible space allowing Gatecrasher to produce an even bigger show.
The festive Classical event, which will be the final Classical show of 2018, will feature an all new show celebrating 25 years of Gatecrasher history. An all new track list will include timeless dance anthems including Insomnia (Faithless), Born Slippy (Underworld), Power of Love (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) It’s Not Over Yet (Grace), You’re Not Alone (Olive), Children (Robert Miles), Adagio for Strings (Tiesto) as well as a host of special acts and live performances alongside the Gatecrasher Orchestra. Remade, Remixxed & Re-Imagined.
The new event, will also feature a huge DJ line up with a host of the biggest players on the scene right now.
First up, Gatecrasher welcome Subculture boss; John O'Callaghan for this huge arena show on Friday 28th December. As an artist, producer, DJ and an internationally respected name in the world of Electronic music, John O’Callaghan has long pushed the boundaries of musical genres in ways that have earned him a stellar reputation across the dance music industry.
Next Up, Gatecrasher are pleased to announce Bryan Kearney is set to join the Line Up. A dedicated and driven individual with a relentless passion for all things energetic. A talented technician that has continued to climb through the ranks of global dance music to truly establish himself amongst the DJing elite and has become a firm favourite amongst fans.
A man who needs little introduction; Radio 1 legend Judge Jules will also be on deck duty at Coventry Skydome Arena, & Gatecrasher’s very own Scott Bond will also be seen taking the helm of this exclusive one-off show.
Bigger, Better, Bass Business is on the agenda for the final 2018 edition of the Classical event, with an Arena style production planned, which will see Gatecrasher bring their infamous Laser Unity show to Coventry, featuring over 50 lasers, a full light show synonymous with the global brand plus a full arena style sound system, Special FX, CO2 & more, creating one unforgettable experience.
