Izakaya in Chester – Welcome to Izakaya Lounge


Izakaya is an exciting new dining experience coming to Chester this June. Located on Pepper Street, Izakaya brings an elegant new dining lounge to the city. Bookings are now open for you to dine with us. Join our bottomless brunch events and hire a private dining booth. Izakaya is a traditional casual Japanese bar serving alcoholic beverages and authentic Japanese cuisine. Relax with your friends and family at Izakaya Lounge in Chester.



The Izakaya menu combines traditional oriental flavours with fresh Japanese sushi and tastes from Thailand, Korea and beyond. The menu has been carefully crafted to bring you authentic bold flavours from Asia and includes a wide range of small and large plates. Try a selection of everything with a variety of small plates or indulge in your favourite dish with one of our large plates. Our small plates include edamame beans with Nori Chilli Salt, duck spring rolls with plum sake and hoisin dipping sauce and a delicious range of bao buns and gyoza. We also have a range of fresh sushi including traditional California rolls, prawn tempura and flavourful spicier options including lobster dragon rolls, spicy tuna and more! Izakaya’s large plates include a variety of curries, ramen and grilled items including chilli and garlic steak, blackened cod and our indulgent Wagyu beef burger.



Your luxury dining experience is not complete without drinks made with the traditional flavours of Asia. We have a wide variety of wine, beer and soft drinks to suit every diner. Our cocktail menu takes classic cocktails and infuses them with exotic flavours from all over Asia. Our cocktails include sweet options such as our Cherry Blossom Daquiri, floral choices with the Hibiscus and Rose Margarita and sour specials such as our Classic cocktail, the Izakaya Sour. Our other cocktail menus are twisted originals, combining past and future tastes of Asia and Neon Tiki, inspired by Tiki showmanship and the bright lights of Asia.



Izakaya in Chester is proud to host bottomless brunch each weekend. Our bottomless brunch experience includes two hours of bottomless drinks including Prosecco, Peroni and Asahi bottles, our signature cocktail and sharing platters of our Asian inspired food. Bottomless brunch slots can be booked from 12pm – 8pm Saturdays and 4pm – 8pm Sundays. Enjoy delicious Asian food, drinks and live DJ’s with friends and family at Izakaya.
