Award winning café situated in the magnificent ‘Long Garden’
of Pittville Park, with parking and access from the A435.
Built in 1903, the café was originally the entrance lodge to
the park where visitors paid their admission charge, and still
retains many original features, including the beautiful old spa tap.
Since taking over the café 4 years ago, Director and co-founder of Cheltenham Coffee Co, Susannah - and her hard-working team of staff - have built up a thriving business and loyal customer base; serving speciality Arabica coffee and a wide selection of teas, home-made cakes, soups, sandwiches and scoop ice cream all year round.
Seating is outdoor, with blankets and cushions provided in the winter to keep the chill out and picnic blankets in the summer!
Central Cross Café was named 'Best Independent Cafe' in the West Country at the 2015 Western Daily Press Food and Farming awards , having held the same title for Taste of Gloucestershire Awards two years running, and won 'Gold' in the Café/Tearoom category in 2013 Taste of The West Awards. The cafe was also awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence earlier this year.
