Danny Ward

Nominee Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year

Since November 2008 Danny Ward has been travelling Great Britain, often in his T reg Polo, sometimes on the coach, entertaining audiences with his unique style of observational humour.

A self proclaimed tataholic, Danny Ward is on a mission to spread the lesson he refuses to learn – when you try and do things on the cheap, it ends up costing you more. With a delivery that is up-beat and well honed, his easy-going style is both endearing and very funny.

Kate Lucas Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year

Award winning musical comedian Kate Lucas is known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect examples of what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented young comic. In 2014, she took home the title for the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year and her performances since have been met with huge critical acclaim. She has built a seriously impressive reputation on the circuit, storming it every weekend to packed out crowds at the country’s most famous comedy venues including The Comedy Club, The Glee Clubs, Banana Cabaret and Up the Creek. Her debuts show Whatever Happened to Kate Lucas? was met with huge critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a hit Soho Theatre run in following.

Colin Cole

'He mesmerized the audience; they only took their eyes off him to laugh' The Melbourne Age

Colin is literally one of the biggest names in comedy in Australia - not only is he 6' 7', he is also known for his hugely dynamic performance. His delivery is fast and furious, and his material ranges from the topical to the observational.
