The Hostiles / Codename Colin on Saturday 29th February 2020
On Saturday 29th February, Dev Bros Promotions presents a Ska Punk double header at The Brickyard featuring The Hostiles and Codename Colin, plus very special guests Too Close For Missiles and Carlisle’s very own Haushinka! We’re having a party to kick off the new year, and what a way to do it with two of the most fun and entertaining Ska Punk bands in the UK! Trumpets, Bass, Beer and one big party!
The Hostiles bring the upbeat energy of west coast US ska punk to the less-sunny climes of west coast Scotland and Northern England. Their take is spirited and infectious, combining distorted guitars riffs, low-slung rhythms, in-your-face vocals and a two-pronged brass backbone of trumpet and trombone. It’s a formula that’s helped the five-piece build a strong reputation on the live circuit as an act to be reckoned with, good times guaranteed.
“Upbeat, effervescent, bouncy and danceable” -Punktastic
“Infectious and overflowing with energy”- Big Cheese Magazine
“Awesome!!” – Aaron Barrett (Reel Big Fish)
