Review of Shangri-La Presents: DEFECTED
Security staff at the venue were very rude and refused entry to a member of our party. There was Male and Female queues to get into the venue, and the female queue was very long (there was no-one in the male queue). The security company in charge of searching bags clearly miscalculated staffing requirements.
To ease the burden on security staff we said the female members of our party were happy to have our bags searched by male staff. We were told we were being "Difficult" and refused entry. It was un unpleasant experience to be bullied by security staff in a queue waiting to get into an event you've already paid a ticket for. I've never experienced this level of abuse at Defected events before. Very dissapointed.
