• What we'll do

This is like a drop-in class for those that want to play, perform and try improvising a lot.

Beginners welcome.

We shall explore some old games and exercises that I rarely use (and some I constantly do), (probably) a lot of directing and sidecoaching, dependent on the people in the room. The idea would be to run a set each session; we have initiated a common format that we play out for me: WeirDass (this format was created by MadTV's Stephanie Weir and her infamous husband, Bob Dassie).

I get to explore games and exercises that I have not used, or not in awhile - I shall fail at this from time to time and we'll run ones I use a lot. These sessions will not include any of my normal teaching. However, you will get the natural experiential learning gained from my running the games and exercises. Each session will work off of a central development area that has been spoken about in previous weeks or I have noticed could be valuable. When you regularly attend, you will influence this.

Thanks.
