very disappointed as we usually go every year, poorly organised this time around. Poor pricing for quality, poor atmosphere due to bad advertising, ESPECIALLY advertisjng of the secret sets (so secret no one turned up). Felt very rushed to get as many acts you like in as possible due to all being one day. All venue choices (bar the penny) were extortionate drinks prices. Just poorly done this time around and think youve lost a lot of atmosphere and regulars unfortunately. Recommend go back to full weekend and more bands less dj sets (all felt like school discos). At least the bands create good atmosphere. and because you moved weekend you lost most popular venue Jolly Sailor.

Good festival. Liked the ability to wander round Canterbury and try out different venues. Great that you could buy good coffee/beer without being trapped with the usual 2 or 3 poor brands you normally get at festivals.

As a first year student it was exciting to get involved within the music scene in Canterbury , especially a local festival. If I'm honest I knew very few acts on this years line up and many of the venues were D.j. sets (which weren't all bad) but would have been much nicer to have more of a variety; or even set genre stages that went on till later. The Saturday I watched a few bands at the Jolly sailor (sound was brilliant and really cool ska/hardcore bands), then went off to Dane John gardens, they were running an hour behind schedule and there were a few technical problems which seemed to take ages to resolve (this happened on both days, with the two acts I wanted to see). Not much else was to offer at Dane John for 'entertainment' and not only myself but a few others thought it was a bit spa**e. The atmosphere was really nice though and it was really enjoyable to see such a variety of people of different ages enjoying the music. Not much else caught mine and my friends fancy except Rodigan of the evening, him alone as an act was really great. On the Sunday I went straight to Dane Johns to watch 'Coco and the Butterfeilds', have seen them before and yet again they put on a brilliant set ( Even after all the sound problems which led them to being on late) , would be nice to be able to get music/sets like these to carry on till late in certain venues. After that me and my friend pottered round till Alberrys/Loft evening D.j sets kicked in. Popped into the loft but it wasn't to my personal taste, but Alberrys all evening was an incredible line up and the venue just added to the amazing atmosphere. We wanted to make most of the night (as we knew steinbeck was open till 6am) but unfortunately I wasn't aloud into Stienbeck even though I had the wrist band on which clarified I was over 18. So ended up heading back to Alberrys and spending my night raving there till the early hours. As for price I didn't get chance to purchase my tick*t till a later tier so it cost pretty much £40. This is quite a substatial amount for anyone let alone a student, I think it would be cool to have more tent venues set up around, bring more of the arts into it and options for people. Also some venues didn't seem to have a very welcoming atmosphere.

OVerall amazing !!! my only slight criticism (and I know it's tricky) was the scheduling meant that when the White Lies were playing I has to miss the Shimmer Band :-)

Saw 21 acts and had a blast all weekend can't wait for next year!

Drinks tokens in venues are overpriced, also I love the supporting acts. I just wish you had more urban/grime acts :)

Great music and venues but Token system for drinks is an absolute rip off. Would not buy any next year! Also the map on the programme was wrong and not detailed enough to be able to use properly, there were two things labelled as number 9 and no number 10 so made things abit more difficult at times :( had to use google maps in the end. Also maybe a few more obvious signs would be good, as not very obvious to see/find for people who dont know their way around the city! Aside from that a great festival :) will deffo go again.

Great to be able to dip in and dip out of so many venues, all with great music. Felt safe and well-organised, plus was lovely to be able to go home to my bed and not collapse into a cold tent. Booze was a bit on the steep side here and there.

The marketing team, like previous years, need to have a little look at themselves. "90% of tickets sold" plastered all over social media and then selling "upgrades" for £10 on the day is just bizarre. I'm aware it's not a technique unique to CSP but it devalues the image of the organizers for me. We know it's not 95% sold out, various members of staff have quoted your not, venue managers have quoted your not, so why out right lie to your consumers in the build up to the festival? That aside the organisation, venues, music variety is, just like in previous years, impressive for a small scale festival. Special mention for the Westgate Tower Stage which was a fantastic intimate venue for live music. In contrast the sound quality in the Westgate Hall was pretty abysmal.
