What could be better than listening to choruses and arias from the world’s favourite operas on a balmy summer’s evening?
Our soprano will be Claire Wild, who in a recent review was described ‘steals the show as a spirited and sassy Susanna, a first-class actress with a rich soprano and superb projection, crisply convincing at all times with her beautifully enunciated
Our tenor will be Alexander James Edwards who was lauded by the Telegraph as ‘one of the UK’s best-loved tenors’ and is a regular with all the top English operatic societies and orchestras across the world.
We are also delighted to welcome Rufus Frowde, the chorus’s new accompanist. Rufus is a conductor and organist who has played for celebrity and royal weddings and has accompanied several top conductors and instrumentalists.
Hertfordshire Chorus is one of the country’s foremost choirs. Conducted by David Temple MBE, it regularly performs with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and it has recently been broadcast on BBC Radio3 and BBC Radio2.
