Review of Halfway To Paradise - The Billy Fury Story

I have never been so disappointed with a theatre production. The person who was taking the part of Billy Fury was twice his age when he died. He looked more like a Freddie star impersonator than a Billy Fury and appeared to have limited mobility. He did not look, sing or act in any way shape or form like Billy Fury. His backing group were so old and decrepit it was embarrassing to watch. They could play their instruments and would have been better to stay in the dark and just play the instruments - not prance about the stage trying to recapture their youth. The only part of the show which I enjoyed was when they showed a clip of Billy Fury singing. A truly disappointing show. Please give up doing this show. It was an insult to Billy Fury.
