A privileged few got to see Scottish tunesmiths Wrest aboard the good ship Thekla.

Imagine ... Coldplay had they not got lost in their preciousness and after their first few albums had been put out to stud and mated with a Frightened Rabbit. Richly, and thickly, delivered Scottish tones float above strummed rhythm and elegant lead guitar. This band could become very big indeed, if they get the breaks and the requisite ears. Lend them your ears.

Had the best night at Thekla on Friday. Horsemeat Disco were incredible, great friendly mixed crowd. First time at Thekla, and will definitely be keeping my eye on future events, such a cool space.
