Larkham and Hall live at Bristol Fringe on Sunday 1st November 2020
Sarah Larkham and Elliot Hall have written well over 2,000 songs between them and have racked up several decades of performance on the folk/americana/acoustic circuit despite still being 'only' in their forties. Larkham's love for acoustic music began at the folk clubs she attended with her sea captain father - once singing with Julie Felix - and Hall would describe songwriting and music as quite literally saving his life as a troubled teenager.
The pair - who live together on a houseboat in Bristol - enthral audiences with their honest, emotional songwriting, stunning poetic lyrics (Hall won an award for this in 2012) accomplished playing (whether it be on acoustic guitars, mandolin or harmonica) and their entwined harmony vocals - his rough, whiskey-soaked baritone and her softer, country-edged tones.
Performances in their hometown have nearly always sold out. Don't miss the chance to sit in on this incredibly intimate performance from two very special songwriters. Places are limited to 15 MAX due to current restrictions. For this reason there is also a matinee sitting at 5pm.
There will also be a ticketed live streamed performance of the show, please go to the Bristol Fringe for details.
