Comedians crack you up for cancer cause on Sunday 20th May 2018
THREE Bristol institutions – Penny Brohn UK, Pieminister and comedian Mark Olver – are hosting a Comedy Night for the cancer cause on Sunday, May 20.
Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats star Mark is assembling a cavalcade of comedy mates (final line up TBA) to perform in a marquee at Penny Brohn’s National Centre in Pill.
The over-16s event runs from 7.15pm-10.30pm and includes a cash bar, different Pieminister pies and raffle.
Penny Brohn head of community events Emma Gilmore said: “We’re grateful to Mark for rallying some of the best in the business and thank Pieminister for pledging plenty of pies – all so people enjoy our annual Comedy Night.
“People can leave their vehicles in our car park overnight to better enjoy a barrel of laughs.
“Every penny raised will help Penny Brohn raise the £2.5 million needed annually to continue to help people live as well as possible for as long as possible, before, during and after treatment.
“Our previous comedy nights have been sell-out successes, so grab your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets cost £12.
