Utopia: Laurence Guy, O'Flynn, Theo Kottis on Saturday 18th January 2020

Our last event with Folamour & Mafalda sold out well in advance, this event will be no exception!

For our next journey, we will transport you to the inspiring narrow backstreets of Tokyo, Japan. Filling Lakota with vibrant neon lights and colours forming a parallel reality, there will be something new to explore around every corner. We thought it would be fitting to invite one of the most exciting artists in the disco & house scene to compliment this experience.

Emerging, like many young UK artists, from the grassroots of genres such as D’n’B and Dubstep, he has always been keen to explore his own personal artistic vision. Laurence can also be found rummaging through the dusty crates of his local record shops, informing the sound of his refined DJ sets, edits label Accidental Pieces and Rinse FM residency.

Outplay · Rose Records · Cin Cin

Since his exceptional early EP’s, ‘Desmonds empire’ and ‘Tyrion’, O’Flynn has been a distinctive talent in the UK's dance scene. The London based DJ & producer, has developed a silky African induced sound which can be heard in many of his productions. Rapidly establishing a reputation as a bright young talent, his releases have been supported by Ben UFO, Gilles Peterson, James Blake, Four Tet, Bonobo and Joy Orbison to name but a few.

Ninja Tune · Blip Discs · Silver Bear · Hundred Flowers

Edinburgh based Dj, Theo Kottis has established himself as one of the UK's most versatile DJs through his ability to adapt his sets to multiple moods and environments. Holding down residencies at Glasgow's Sub Club and playing a Boiler Room at Fly Open Air, Kottis has built a reputation as a standout DJ both locally and internationally.
