Cabarave New Years Eve: A Midwinter Night's Dream on Saturday 31st December 2022

It's New Years Eve.
It's Cabarave.
It's time to PARTY!!!!!!
Join us for one night of pure fantasy - where frivolity and fun meet under one roof to lay the foundations for a new fable where you are the hero, where we breathe the joys of spring into a special midwinter night and celebrate our collective dreams for the future.
If music be the food of love, play on, and we intend to!
As ever dress to EXPRESS: whether you prefer to take the form of a human, a fairy or a weaver with a donkey head we want you to look and most importantly FEEL your best, whatever version that is for you!
Costume inspiration: sparkles, fantasy, fairies, nature, nymphs, glitter, forest, flowers, animals, ethereal, silver, moonlight, regal, Shakespeare, His Dark Materials, winter, Iridescence, Gods and Goddesses, opulence, constellations…
Big voice, big bass and big hair is what Singer/MC Eva Lazarus is all about! We had the pleasure of hosting her for our stage last Halloween and have been wanting to have her back – and on a much bigger stage- ever since!
Her musical flavours span across genres from Reggae to Hip Hop, DnB to Jungle and beyond! Eva Lazarus tirelessly smashed through festival season, including Glastonbury, main stage Outlook, multiple packed shows at BoomTown culminating with an electric Show alongside Gentleman’s Dub Club in the Lions Den. She is an absolute powerhouse queen who will ROCK our stage on New Years Eve!
Since hosting this awesome three piece band over four years ago they’ve gone from strength to strength with sell out shows and festival bookings in the UK and abroad- what a treat to have them again for NYE!
Captain Flatcap is multi-genre, instrumental Electronic Dance Music. Live sets consist of a 3-piece band (Chris Rotherham, Tom Rotherham, Matt Woods) and the DJ, performing all original, live instrument fuelled Bass Music. The live band is centered around vintage remix and includes influences of swing, ska, funk, folk and various genres of dance music. The band wields trumpet, flute, guitar, mandolin, keyboard, drums which fuse with heavy beats and filthy basslines!
This multi-genre all girl DJ collective have fast been making themselves known across the music scene with fast and furious bookings at major UK festivals and events. APH and DEMETRIA have made a mark on the festival circuit with full takeovers at festivals such as Balter, Shindig and NASS. From 140- dnb these two bring a multitude of genres, you won’t be disappointed.
If you know the Kittens, you know how this will go down - fun filled, high energy and unexpected surprises, this is not a set you want to miss! And if you don’t know them then what an introduction on the biggest night of the year. Plenty of DnB, Jungle, Bassline, Garage, House and feel good vibes to bring down the house!
Rusty Compass are a rambunctious band of Varushkan gypsy brothers that hail from the barren wastelands of Karsk. They travel the length and girth of the land on their yak-pulled cart, playing comedic, rambunctious, gypsy, pirate, knees up, tavern music.
From drunken sea shanties to Varushkan hard bass, Rusty Compass are a whirlwind of comical unpredictability and raucous antics.
Cabarave mum, dance obsessive DJ Can't Say No is on hand to make sure you have the most FUN you possibly can whilst living in the 4th dimension. Opening the main room with floor-fillers, bass and bangers be sure to get there early and get your groove on with her!
Keep your eyes, ears, noses and potatoes peeled as we will be announcing our cabaret show line up very soon…
Head to the Postal Posse's counter and put your stamp on the evening's affairs.
What does lady luck have in store for you in the coming year?
Visit Ruya our lovely Tarot reader to find out!
Bring cash along to pay her with.
We will have a glitter fairy on hand to make sure you’re looking fantastical on NYE!
Bring cash along to pay her with and arrive early if you want to get adorned with sparkles by this fairy queen!
Dressing up to the nines (tens, twenties and thousands) is what Cabarave is all about and we want to see you sparkling like never before on New Years Eve! Seriously, we're packing our sunglasses and hoping to be forced to use them!
We'll be posting outfit inspiration and tips on the theme on our socials so stay tuned.
Our New Years Eve venue is accessible for party goers in wheelchairs and mobility scooters, the main areas are flat and a lift to take you to the accessible toilets. Share this news far and wide - we want no one left out of the fun! Our inbox is always open for suggestions in inclusivity- the best parties are the ones we can all enjoy!
