Party In Your Pants - Power to the PIYPle on Friday 22nd November 2019
Power to the PIYPle! We're back for the final PIYP of the year. Fill your boots with a dose of rebellious, hopeful joy. Top up your Faith in Humanity tanks. It could be a bumpy ride from here, but if we can remember how to laugh against the odds and how to play against the machine, we will never lose.
Five hours of messy UV paint play, with smashing tunes from our resident UVcorn of Audio Angel Delight, Miles Metric, and blacklight body art by World Famous in Brighton Judi and The Doodlecats. Show as much skin as you like - toplessness is optional, only respect and pants are compulsory. This is an event for the enlightened. If you can't understand the concept of desexualised nudity, this is not the place for you. For every other inclusive, intersectional feminist, whatever your gender, come and experience your equality and your liberty the Doodlecats way. Wheelchair accessible, free PA passes. LGBTQI+ friendly. Unicorns, mermaids and other mythical beings welcome.
What is Party In Your Pants?
PIYP is the world’s first and only topless, feminist blacklight bodydoodle and paint rave. We provide a cloakroom for you to store your stuff, all the paint pens, sploshy goop, holi powder, water pistols and everything else required to make a god-almighty neon MESS called ART on YOU, the canvas!
Who is the Artist?
You are. You are also the Art, the Talent and the Star of the Show. We all are.
Do I have to be in my pants?
Yes, this is a nipple equality party, not a nudist party. You must wear at least pants.
Do I have to be in ONLY my pants?
No! Your body, your choice. It’s our job to make you want to be in only your pants, and we are good at our job, but the choice is yours and your choice will be respected. We will never coerce or cajole you.
Will my clothes get messy if I don’t want to be in my pants?
Yes. We will kill your clothes with beautiful neon mess… and we’re not sorry.
Who keeps it safe if everyone is in their pants?
You do. You are the conscience, the eyes and the voice of PIYP. We take responsibility for the safety of everyone, but we do it with your collaboration and our ingenious SafeSpace inventions, like The Finger of Consequences, Consent Fairies and a Resident Mum and Dad.
Music Genres: Acid House, Breaks, Cheesy Dance, Club Classics, Disco, Funky House
