Berlin presents Emanuel Satie on Friday 26th October 2018

We are proud to bring you another rising star of the global club scene. We welcome Emanuel Satie a DJ & producer based in Berlin. With releases on mammoth labels such as Get Physical, Cecille, Flashmob, Knee Deep In Sound, Noir, Snatch!, Suara and Souvenir - Emanuel's prestige is without doubt one of the scene's most talented young global artists.

Emanuel Satie
Get Physical Music, Souvenir Music, Suara, Knee Deep In Sound, Gruuv

In 2015 Emanuel Satie, the Frankfurt-born, Berlin-based house and techno producer had been steadily picking up steam with straight to dancefloor hits on DTFD, Get Physical and Gruuv, and was featured in Resident Advisor’s top charted tracks of the year. He also delivered one of the standout remixes on The 2 Bears ‘The Night Is Young’ remix LP with a deeper houser version of ‘Get Out’ and a killer Main Room DJ set alongside Groove Armada at Fabric, London.

But things were only just warming up for Emanuel. 2016 saw him burst into the spotlight with a consistent string of successful releases. His rework of Late Nite Tuff Guy’s remix of DJ Le Roi & Roland Clark’s I Get Deep hit number 1 in the Beatport overall chart and still sits high in the chart today.

His latest original production also had notable Beatport chart success, Come As You Are, his debut single on Nic Fancuilli’s Saved Records was a stunning first outing for the label and found favour with many leading jocks across many genres - a testament to Satie's ability so satisfy even the most discerning floor.

Emanuel’s list of notable remixes is also growing, with remixes for DJ Sneak & Riva Star on Snatch Records, Hife & Bazaar on Noir, Who Made Who on Get Physical & Shiba San on Suara all having dropped in the first half of 2016, and in-demand Satie has a slew of high profile releases lined up for release in the coming months including an EP on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound Label dropping in August.

Heavy support from Pete Tong on many Satie tracks on his BBC R1 show led him to proclaim Emanuel’s track ‘Private Show’ ‘probably my favourite bassline of 2015', and an invitation to mix the coveted 'After Hours Mix'. Alongside this, he was picked by Mixmag to feature in their Hot 6 ones to watch.

2017 followed with more success, having had presentations at Watergate Berlin, Air ADE in Amsterdam, Ministry of Sound London, Hï, Ushuaia and Sankey's Ibiza and Pacha, Barcelona, to name a few, this spring he will play events like Elrow Berlin, Amnesia Opening and Extrema Outdoor Belgium.

Recently Emanuel has been chosen to be the subject of the latest documentary from Pioneer DJ Sounds, has remixed Audiojack and released the single Don’t Forget To Go home EP (feat Billy Cobham) on Rebirth Records. The record was a big summer record, after Pete Tong made it his Miami Music Week Essential New Tune.

Most recently, Berlin powerhouse label Get Physical enlisted Emanuel to curate and mix the 20th essential edition of the iconic Body Language mix series. Available now!

NOLAN
Get Physical Music, Gruuv, Kittball Records, Nervous Records, Connaisseur Recordings, OFF Recordings, Exploited Rec

Straddling House and Disco with a unique twist and an eye for the underground NOLAN is making serious waves right now. Signed to Crew Love Records | Get Physical | Kittball | OFF | Nurvous | Connaisseur | ALiVE | Simma Black | Gruuv | Wired | MadTech just to name a few!

NOLAN's debut release 'Thief', was snapped up by New York's Nurvous Records, making its way into the discerning boxes of Wolf+Lamb, Droog and Maceo Plex, in addition to being picked up for remix by Huxley. His follow up EP was released on vinyl by the exquisite Connaisseur Recordings, with a bumping Paradise Garage-inspired disco track alongside a stunning revision of an MK classic.

Followed by a sizzling hot vinyl EP on Audiojack's GRUUV imprint with remixes courtesy of John Tejada and Poker Flat's Kyodai. Then came 'Go Slow' with it's choice remixes from Miguel Puente & a young Finnebassen who's remix clocked almost 5 million views (possibly OFF Recordings' most popular release on YouTube). More recently his collaborations with Soul songstress Rachel Adedeji created a huge buzz amongst the DJ community featuring remixes from DJ T, Climbers. Sharam Jey & ATFC. Which was followed by a slew of releases on Low Steppa's Simma Black, ALiVE, King Street, Dear Deer & a vinyl release on Sex Panda White with remixes from Kevin Over (Noir), Telonius (Gomma) + Matt Fear & Creature.

But it's NOLAN's collaboration with Amber Jolene, which spent an unprecedented 256 days in the Beatport NuDisco charts (100 days of which in the top 10 itself) which is proving hard to beat. The sublime remix by Danish rising star KANT resonated around Ibiza island and now features on Toolroom Ibiza 2014 CD, Pure Salinas, Coco Beach, Armada Sunset + Ministry Of Sound Chilled House Ibiza 2014 compilation CDs and has also now hit the over 11 million views on YouTube!

Not one to rest on his laurels Nolan's next collaboration with the inimitable Forrest came out on KITTBALL featuring remixes from Hot Creations duo Raumakustik and label boss P.A.C.O. Followed by a 2 tracker Dance Boy & Cassette Tape up next on Enzo Siffredi's chart busting Wired imprint... Then over the summer there's plenty more to come with more Nolan & Forrest collaborations signed to Soul Clap & Wolf+Lamb's Crew Love Records...

Monica Music
Berlin - Brighton, Codesouth.FM

Two strangers enter a toilet at a Pan Pot gig, they emerge as friends, and two years later are ready to start showing the city of Brighton and the rest of the world their unique style of dance floor groovers.

Luke and Owen, aka Monica, have been members of the dance floor generation since their late teens. With a musical choice that is sometimes considered to sit just outside what the majority of people in Brighton play, and a love for the Berlin sound, it wasn't long before they were offered their first taste of limelight, when the head honcho of Nightshift Records, Sami Kubu, offered them a slot on her bi-monthly podcast. The podcast was to be released as a Halloween special in 2016. The mix was an emotional and moody eclectic mix of music both Luke and Owen love with groove from start to finish. It was well received by both listeners and Nightshift records themselves and building on their success secured a weekly radio show on Codesouth FM.

Since then Monica have been involved in numerous Berlin-Brighton events and completed a Berlin Mixtapes Guest mix for us too.
