Historic Royal Pavilion Event Unveils Prince Regent’s Unseen Art on Thursday 5th December 2019

An exclusive festive cultural evening hosted by The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Alan Robins, will take place on Thursday 5th December at 7.30pm at The Royal Pavilion Brighton where 120 rare art treasures will be on display.

These artworks, originally commissioned by The Prince Regent, have been returned to the Royal Pavilion by Her Majesty the Queen and Buckingham Palace for a limited time. This event is a chance to discover these spectacular treasures, some of which will be seen here for the first time in 170 years.

The evening will begin at 7.30pm with a glass of bubbly in the Great Kitchen followed by a talk about their Royal History from historian Dr. Alexandra Loske, from the University of Sussex, in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Pavilion Music Room.

Proceeds from this unique evening will be shared by two of the Mayor's charities, Martlets and Rockinghorse. Tickets are £20.00 each, and must be booked in advance. Please call 01273 330044 or email hollie@rockinghorse.org.uk to book.
