Leg Puppy & Guests on Sunday 7th January 2018

jackofthearts Presents: The sub_ject Tor

Leg Puppy
Electro Punk four piece from South London are one of the most exciting and unique live acts on the circuit. You will not forget a LegPuppy show in a hurry.
The band consist of:
Darren Laurence - Songwriter, synths, drum machines, sampler, vocalist
Claire Jones - Songwriter, vocalist, keyboards, acoustic guitar
Phil Bellinger aka Pups - Guitar, keyboard
Simon James aka Hugo Bamoboo - Clown, vocalist
Darren & Claire formed LegPuppy at a house party in Wales. Everyone else was name-dropping and showing off with their band names, so when asked if they were in a band, they both replied with yep, out popped Leg from Claire & Puppy from Darren, the rest is history.

Posionous Birds
Colliding grinding, dystopian electronics with moments of delicate beauty, Poisonous Birds deliver a bold statement of intent in their debut EP Gentle Earth.
The duo craft a fiercely original sound, spanning post-rock, electronica, industrial, ambient & drone to frame frontman & multi-instrumentalist Tom Ridley's dreamy vocal and percussionist Finn Mclean's visceral rhythm.
Using live loops and sequencing, the duo reinterpret the material for the stage and deliver a beautifully intense live experience.

Laura James
I’m a folk musician who secretly yearns to be a poet, my hair is a little bit ginger, and i have a dream every night.
“Cumbria born Laura James oozes talent. From her sublime acoustic guitar playing and gentle angelic vocals to her beautifully innocent lyrics that only come along with youth. Each song told a story and each word captured everybody there... this young singer/songwriter has the sweetest disposition on stage and you can't help but float along with her music. A truly captivating performance...” Music Mafia

A Standard Model
A dysfunctional abstraction. Weakend punk and electromondaynity. London / Rio de Janeiro / Stoke-on-Trent.

Music Genres:

Electro, Electronic, Folk, Punk, Rock & Roll
