Review of The Halloween CarnEvil
Did not live up to expectations. No live scare acts, not a fairground. Just bumped cars. Awful decor. Bin bags taped to the wall is not incredible Halloween decor. Didn't see any live acts. Awful quality production.

Well... Firstly, I don't know how a venue can get away with advertising themselves as something they clearly NEVER even tried to be. Not even a little bit.
It was an absolute joke. THERE WAS NO - 'Live Scare Actors', 'Festival level Production' -FYI, BIN BAGS ON THE WALLS IS NOT FESTIVAL LEVEL PRODUCTION, no 'Indoor Funfair', 'Interactive Stalls, Games', or 'Incredible Halloween Decor'. So the whole advertisement was a lie to draw people in. Plus it wasn't in a warehouse, it was in the hilton hotel.
And thats not even the worst parts -- THERE WAS NO TAP WATER ANYWHERE. To get water I was expected to spend £10 on my card which is unlawful. You have to provide people with free water when you're selling alcohol. AND THERE WASN'T ENOUGH TOILETS. How can a venue get something so wrong. NOT ENOUGH TOILETS. The portaloos that they had were in the main room, with NO VENTILATION, which was incredible suffocating and disgusting. The ques were so long that you could have spent the whole night waiting to go to the toilet.
The staff were rude as hell. (Apart from the food stall guys)
AND THE CARPET WAS A MASSIVE HEALTH AND SAFELY RISK.
The ONLY good things were the music and the company of my friends.
To be honest, I want my money back...

Terrible venue and awful organisation
The venue really disappointed as it was just a hotel!! It was not what was advertised!!
Music was good, the venue had potential but felt quite disorganised, sloppy even attention to fairly major details - people falling over carpets, toilets a disgrace, and bin liner covered walls.
The crowd by the time the major names were playing were problematic so we left. A little bit too much like the typical west street crowd, aggressive lads, and vomiting girls.
Would return as it was a launch night, for the right music
Honestly the worst event I've ever been to, spent and hour here before I left. Fair enough if it wasn't my cup of tea but I could see it was a great event, that would have been my problem, but the complete atrocity of the organisation of this event is I'm afraid your problem. Bin bags on walls and uneven grey carpet haphazardly sealed with masking tape doth not make a decoration, I think a child could have done a better job with a £10 budget at Poundland and 25 minutes at the venue.
Portaloos inside? Having a security guard every so often come through and spray some air freshener cannot mask the stink of 2,000 people using the toilet.
Having one lovely lady on stilts and bumper cars is not a "variety of theme rides and live acts".
Moreover, a warehouse venue is not the basement of the Hilton.
I had more fun at my year 8 disco which had; more toilets and better decoration for the grand old price of £3 (with a free bag of Haribo I might add). I hate to think the profit margin on these tickets, well played carnevil, you have fooled us all.
I honestly feel like I've been catfished and I want Noel from MTV to come and expose you and give me my money back.
